Custom TSP not working on Windows Vista

Hello,

I have an issue with a custom TSP written in C++. It should be used by outlook to make a call. It works fine under windows xp, but under Vista it doesn't. I am not sure which is the problem because I am able to add it in the Advanced tab from Phone and Modem options and I am able to select it from the New Call dialog from Outlook to use it as a line. When I press Start call i receive an error "An internal error occurred in the automatic phone dialer. Close the dial phone box and then open it again".
Also, using the dialer.exe application from microsoft I am unable to use it. The following error shows: "An internal error occured in Phone Dialer. Quit and restart Phone Dialer."
Can you please advice me how I can solve this?
I tried to add the TSP using Tapi Browser 2 through lineAddProvider which returned SUCCESS but still was not working.

My suspicion is that the custom XP code is not Vista-compliant. It's probably crashing due to security issues. I would contact the owner and get a version that works.

This sort of problem will be widespread with Vista which is less forgiving than XP.

Hey,

I already disabled the User Account Control from Windows Vista, maybe is something else I should turn off?
My job is to make this TSP to work under Windows Vista, I already have the sources.. and I am trying to find a solution maybe to rewrite the interface of this dll.
