Legal? Illegal?

namespace FOO
{
void goo() { }
void bar() { FOO::goo();} // THIS LINE HERE

}

I'm in namespace FOO, and then scoping to namespace FOO. gnu 3.4.3
doesn't even show a warning. gnu 4.3 gives an error, preventing
compile. Is this really forbidden? (to use namespace scoping when in
that namespace?)

Thanks

I can't imagine why it wouldn't work. What kind of error do you get?
