k&r2 ex 1-3 pg 13

When k&r2 says to write a header for the program listed what's that
mean? A header file? Some kind of text heading for the celcius program?

Are you going to continue to ask questions about Chapter 1 of K&R for
the next ten years, as you have for the last ten?

Read the exercise again. It says "print a heading above the table".
In case you don't remember, the table in question is at the very top
of the same page. Do you know what the two columns represent? If
not, go back and read the previous two pages until you do.

Have you ever seen printed tables where there is a heading over each
column? Have you seen tables without headings? (Hint: look at the
top of the page.) Which is easier to understand?

Does the table at the top of the page have a heading. (Hint: why are
they asking you to write one?) What do you think would be appropriate
for this table?

OK I see now. I probably would not have use the term heading but "title"
above columns which would probably confuse other people too.
