Answer to C++ Primer 4th edition Exercise 1.20 (in section 1.4.4)

Hi,

Can someone please tell me the answer to exercise 1.20 in C++ Primer
4th edition. I am stuck on this question.

Please state the actual question and provide *all* your thoughts on it.
We are not going to do it for you, but we could try to figure out
*together* where you're stuck, but you have to give us a bit more to go on.
