sound card programming

Hi,
I have developed an application,which receives RTP packets and plays out the audio data.Is there any means by which i can implement jitter buffer??i am working on Linux.And while playing out the data i have jitters.

Check out this link. It is a free RTP library for linux. It is very good and free.
