Xerces-C++ function on C++

I have found as following function. It must returns outtext but I don't know about C++ and Xerces-C++ library any more.
who can execute this function on C++ and returm me input XML file and Output result as example.
I would be very glad if any body help me.
Thankes in advance

void MakeElementReference(OutputXMLChFragment &out, DOM_Element &node) {

static XMLCh elementBoundOpen[] = { chOpenAngle, chNull };
static XMLCh elementBoundClose[] = { chCloseAngle, chNull };
static XMLCh dataBoundOpen[] = { chEqual, chNull };
static XMLCh dataBoundClose[] = { chEqual, chNull };

out.AppendData(node.getNodeName().rawBuffer(),
node.getNodeName().length());
out.AppendString(elementBoundOpen);

if (node.hasChildNodes()) {

if ((node.getFirstChild() == node.getLastChild()) &&
(node.getFirstChild().getNodeType() == DOM_Node::TEXT_NODE)) {

// Element has a single child with value string
DOMString value = node.getFirstChild().getNodeValue();
if (value.length() != 0) {
out.AppendString(dataBoundOpen);
out.AppendData(value.rawBuffer(), value.length());
out.AppendString(dataBoundClose);
}
} else {
DOM_Node cNode = node.getFirstChild();

do {
if (cNode.getNodeType() == DOM_Node::ELEMENT_NODE) {
MakeElementReference(out, (DOM_Element&)cNode);
}
cNode = cNode.getNextSibling();
} while (!cNode.isNull());
}
}
out.AppendString(elementBoundClose);
}

Without an input file, it's hard to do create the output file.
I don't have a C++ compiler on hand either. Should I move this thread to the C++ forum?

What are you looking for anyways? Do you even know what the function is supposed to do?

I' m sorry to confuse a place of this thread. Certainly you can move it anywhere you want only let me know where it moved.

Input file must be any xml file. I interested output file. And I want to compare them. For example:

<HEAD>
<TITLE>Sample XML File</TITLE>
</HEAD>

<BODY>
<P>Right under this line I insert an XML data island.</P>
<XML ID="CDXML">
<CDS>
<CD>Two Against Nature</CD>
<CD>Giant Steps</CD>
<CD>Round About Midnight</CD>
<CD>Imaginary Day</CD>
</CDS>
</XML>
</BODY>

And I have not C++ compiler too also I havn't ability to check this Xerces-C++ function.

Thanks in advance.

Why not? If you are on Windows, you can download Cygwin - it will give you access to gcc/g++.

If you are on Linux, you should be able to install or use gcc/g++.
