C++ Program to Comapre Files

i just started learning c++. i have a code that prints the program itself. i need to modify that program to read in two different text files. text files should have 9 separate integers. then store in two separate arrays, add arrays and store in third array. and for the whole task "main" function is only allowed to declair array, call function and receive user inputs.

i just tried to understand the task what i really need to do. i dont really have much idea of c++. just started. i think program should allow user to input name of two files and at least 9 integers for each. program will write this integers on those two files. now you have to read and add the corresponding integers from those two files and store your result in a third text file. you have to store integers using two arrays.
so finally you will have three text files
1.text file containing at least 9 integers
2.another text file containing same number of integers as first text file.
3.text file containing summations of every corresponding integers.

let me know if i am thinking it in the right way... i need to finish this project by tomorrow afternoon. so if anybody have idea, can you reply me please ASAP. i will appriciate that if you can help me out. thanks
