'interface' does not mean a type

Hi

I am getting error 'interface' does not mean a type at following line:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.     interface IEntry : public Tools::IObject
  2.     {
  3.     public:
  4.         virtual id_type getIdentifier() const = 0;
  5.         virtual void getShape(IShape** out) const = 0;
  6.         virtual ~IEntry() {}
  7.     };
  8.
Can anybody figure out what this mean?

C++ dosent have a keyword names interface.
Thats why u are getting the error
Change interface to class and it will compile

The fact that you are using IObject tells me that this is a COM class that probably will be compiled by IDL.

In COM interface is a typedef of struct.

Have you included the necessary COM headers???
