How should I write C++ shared libraries on linux?

Hi, I'm just wondering what is the correct way of writing a C++ shared library on
the Linux platform. I wish to use the dlopen API.
Do you know how this should be done?

I cant get what you really need.
Are you asking how to create a .so from a cpp file or how to open a .so file?
