how to develop intellisense feature in C++ or VC++

I want to develop a feature like intellisense. Please suggest me how to develop intellisense feature in "C++" or "VC++" in my own application.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Off the top of my head (as I don't know of any 'intellisense' feature in C++), I would look at what it does, and then break down that functionality into logical components. I would put those into algorithms, and then code the algorithms.

You should consider the ramifications (legality) of doing this if this 'intellisense' feature is copyrighted (as you mention VC++, most M$ code is under copyright).

I'm not sure, but i imagine it would be like a search feature with indexing all running in the background. You could try to look more into the .ncb file formate to see how MS handles some of its intellisense.
