Showing large data on web forms.

HI all,
I had come across this big problem,I am in the process of converting a desktop C++ application into a C# asp.net application. In the desktop version I run some analysis and get some results. The result set which i get can be 10-15 MB big but since its a standalone application on the client it can handle it.However on the web showing so much of the data will almost kill the page load operation and will take all processing memory.I am thinking of displaying just the portions of data in the page and show relevant data when the user scrolls up or down.Had anyone come across this problem.
Please pour in some suggestions.

The server should show only what's on the page.

A stand-alone application may not directly transfer to the web.

However, people play DVDs on the web. That's about a 4GB data set and it's loaded in chunks dues to its size. I suspect you want the same approach.

Yes I think I would have to show the whole data chunk by chunk since showing all the data on web at once would simply slow it down. The data shown would be based on the position of scroller.I dont know may be I will have to use some in built control to do this.
Thanks
