Casting from void* to Form1^

Is there any way to cast from void* to Form1^? I have tried 'static_cast', 'reinterpret_cast' and also 'dynamic_cast'.

Here's part of my code:
unsigned int Test(void *a)
{
//Get pointer to parent class
Form1 ^dlg = gcnew Form1;
dlg = dynamic_cast<Form1 ^>(a);

The errors I am getting:
error C2440: 'static_cast' : cannot convert from 'void *' to 'Project::Form1 ^'
No user-defined-conversion operator available, or
Cannot convert an unmanaged type to a managed type

You cannot mix managed an unmanaged code like this.

Decide whether you want garbage collection when you allocate since you can't change your mind after the fact.
