Using OpenGL

Hi everyone.
I just finished programming with Allegro and I was wondering if anyone knows any good books for learning OpenGL.

I would also like advice for selecting OpenGL or DirectX 9.

Can anyone help out?

Before I even answer this question, how much time did you spend Googling? What conclusions have you reached from reading Google results?
