If you can read this, you've subscribed! Well done! Please have a look
at the FAQ at http://c-faq.com/ and please type in careful English.
Unnecessary abbreviations such as "pls" are frowned upon here and you
will get more help with C programming if you do not use them.

If you can't read this, then there's no point me telling you how to
subscribe...

Well my newsreader tells me I've subscribed. Yours may use different
terminology.

<OT>
Around here, asking to have a check would be asking for the
bill after a meal in a restaurant. Some restaurants would allow
you to pay your check by cheque.

And round here, it would involve a medical examination.....

I think they would use section 6.9.2 or 7.2.1 for that one.

I didn't realize that I hadn't not gotten the latest version. Is
there a place I can go to not get the latest version? I hate for
the version I don't have not to be the latest.

Here we pay with Euro's or plastic money. I've never seen anyone pay with a
cheque since the demise of 'betaalkaarten'. This were paper cheques. Here
nl.wikipedia.org shows that it's young and written by a Belgian ;-) (I
speak Flemish at home, though I'm Dutch)

But he *doesn't* have the latest edition. He also doesn't have the old

No, I _do_ not have the old version. I _don't_ not have the latest
version (yet). I'm going to go out tonight and not get the latest
version. Only then will I not have both versions. I haven't
decided yet what not to do with the old version I dont have, once
I don't get the new one. (I'm thinking of possibly not selling it
on eBay.)

Of course, once I don't have the new version, they'll probably come
out with a newer version, and then I'll just have to not buy that
one as well.
