Conversion Form JPEG to BMP

Hey.

Seem to have a unique problem,

The images I've been working with in Borland C, On a windows (32 bit) OS get read easily but its impossible to save changes back into them.

Im typically greeted by "Drawing Failed" Messages when i try opening them.
More Importantly
Need help with conversion from JPEG to BMP in C or C++.
Cheerio and thanks.

Well,JPEG is compressed format. It works so that it finds a pixel with a color and as long next pixels have the same color nothing is written as a image data. When it finds a second color it writes it's position and so on..

while bmp says for each pixel which it color has.So you will need two buffers for image data, one for readed image and one for converted image.Read in jepeg and find positions where colors are same, then populate converted image buffer for each pixel. This should do it.

If you find yourself stuck, feel free to post again.

Have fun!!
