The first thing you need to define is what are you trying to simulate? Are you trying to simulate traffic in the cafeteria line, Seating in the cafeteria, cooking in the cafeteria. Then you need to define what are the variables (i.e. a student takes 25 secs - 2 minutes to grab food, 1-3 min to pay, ect). Also how are you representing the simulation (Graphical, ascii based, or text information). After you have determined those and after you have put a little bit of effort in the project, come back and let us know what problems you are having.

What is your arrival distribution?
Are you going to model a queue?
What type of a queue is it going to be (m/m/1, e.t.c)?
What are the objects that will be interacting and how are they related?
