Where to find C++ Serial Port Tutorials

Hi there, i am new here and i am trying to learn how to control serial ports in C++. I have read some of the other posts and found people talking more in C or C# than C++ and am wondering if anyone could suggest any good tutorials.

I am using a Linux Ubuntu Feisty Faun OS, with the standard open source g++ compiler. Any good tutorials would helpful. I am sort of proficient with C++ though i am a first year university student, and no this is not for course work, this is a personal venture of my own.

Thanks for any help that you guys can offer.

My idea is from the C code which is available in the net you can start designing your own for C++.
The basic calls remain the same.
