Is STL in Windows and LInux same??

I need to port a dll containing STL code on to linux platform.Is the Stl same in linux and windows. If not what is the difference.

The STL for Windows is the ANS/ISO STL used by Linux.

Your dll should work fine provided you make no operating system calls. If you do, you will need to partition your code so that you get the appropriate calls based on compiler settings.
