Calculating the sum of three matrices

i'm new in C++ world..i have a trouble in to solve the problem in array chapter...
can someone help me how to solve this???
the QUESTION:

Write a Program that calculate the 3 sum of matrices (4 x 2 matrices). The program read the matrices element from the user and print the output matrix to the screen...(just console )

What have you tried on that? Basically you need some loops to add up the corresponding values in each matrix.

I had to do a program like this for a class and it gave me some headache. The best advice i can give to you is break it down step by step and then convert the step you made into computer code.. If the matrices are always going to be the same size it shouldn't be to tough in breaking it down into a simple function.
