How to draw a circle

hello
i m a student of bioinformatics. i am having problem in C /C++ coding in computer graphics.
i want to know the code for drawing a line,circle,ellipse in computer graphics using C language
please reply as soon as possible.

That rather depends on the platform you are programming for.

This has already been done and by using Google you can probably get a library that you can just use.

Unless this is some persinal exercise, there's no point in recoding commonly available functions.

The magic (google) word here is "Bresenham". but I really doubt if your fine
availiable graphics library doesn't implement it.
