File I/O, not properly reading a .m file

1
Hello,

I am making a program to read a file .M extension. Am using fopen function as follows:

FILE * f = fopen("eight.m", "r");

But when i run the program.. it doesnt read the file properly. I want to read the file and assign the read values to a data element.

Anyone here to help.. i will let u know more about the codes and the file.

Thnks in advance.

Regards

What do you mean it is not reading the file properly? What is a .m extension?

A look at your read statement wouldn't hurt either.
