Connect to remote computer and read RAM, etc...

my problem is;i will connect to an intranet and read informations of a computer like ram speed etc...i couldn't decide how to start.

I would recommend starting with your algorithm. I think it might be easier to start with a top-down approach to break up the modules you want to code. I'd recommend starting at something like

connect to 'client' computer
get ram speed
get memory size
get hd size
transmit back to 'server'

Where server is the computer initiating the connection and client is the computer that receives the connection. You don't mention your OS version, but it will probably be easiest to do one, and then go back once you've got a successful version and code it for another OS.

Of course, if you are just looking how to connect two computers, I'd recommend Google searching 'socket programming c++'. Hope that gets you started.
