Sequence pointers

Hello experts,

As i was going through this discussion forum and different threads, i
am trying to understand these 'sequence pointers' during execution of
a program.

Can you explain this to me please.

The correct term is "sequence point".

Try a google search, the first couple of hits throw up some decent
references.

If that's the correct interpretation, a better reference is to the
standard. Try for eithere N869 or N1124, or you can get a text
version of n869 bzip2 compressed, and slightly truncated for easy
quoting and searching, at:
