Hello,
This is a simple question : I have ( not purposely ) changed the
appearance of my visual C++2005, making a wrong click with my mouse.
Now the errors and messages of output are gone. Since one day, I try
to return to the previous presentation but there's no way , even to
uninstall and reinstall it doesn't work... it has just deleted the
code I was working on since one week.
Do you know how to return to the standard presentation of visual C++?
Thanks ahead of time. 4 1269

Very off-topic here, questions about your IDE should go to a group
discussing that IDE, http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ is a good place.
The following might work: Start VC++, click Tools, Import and Export
Settings, in the dialog, select Reset all settings.

Thank you for your answer. I know it is off-topic but there are no
answers on the microsoft forums.
I tried to do what you adviced me to, it fixed the problem, but
induced a new problem : the application fails to start.

With all due respect, I am not convinced it's true. Have you tried
the 'microsoft.public.vc.ide_general' newsgroup? In any case, that
hierarchy is where you should be looking for the answers to your
IDE questions, not here.
I tried to do what you adviced me to, it fixed the problem, but
induced a new problem : the application fails to start.
I am sure you will find all the help in the right place.
