am getting a run time error caused by this function:

  1. void scan_adress(adress *arr, int *cnt)
  2. {//cnt in initialized to zero.
  3. do
  4. {
  5. printf("\nENTER THE MACHINE NAME: ");
  6. scanf("%s", arr[*cnt].name);
  7. printf("\nENTER THE MACHINE IP: ");
  8. scanf("%s", arr[*cnt].IP);
  9. check_ip(arr[*cnt].IP);
  10. *cnt++;
  11. }while(*cnt < MAXSIZE && arr[*cnt].name != 'none' && arr[*cnt].IP != '0.0.0.0');
