what does the #include<iostream.h> do?

what does the #include<iostream.h> do?
It makes the preprocessor include a file named 'iostream.h' from a predefined
directory somewhere, as if the text in that file were part of your file.

Also note that iostream.h is an old, and depricated, C++ header, it should be

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
