As there is no new.
The delete statement operates on the items variable. This variable is not declared in this code snippet or initialised. Presumably it is initialised else where including newing the data it points to.

In it self the delete statement is not wrong, it rather depends on what the rest of the code is doing.


I do note that you are using malloc(through realloc) and new (through delete) in the same project. This is a really bad idea and should be avoided, either use malloc or use new do not mix usage of them in the same project.
