you can use itoa function or u can use sprintf function.
Folloiwng piece explains sprintf

int x=10;
char arr[10];
sprintf(arr,"%d",x);

In C, use itoa():

char buffer[10];
int num = 43;
itoa(num, buffer, 10);
cout << buffer << endl; // prints "43"
 

In C++, use a string stream object:

#include <sstream>   // need to include that to use stringstream
 
string strNum;
int num = 43;
stringstream ss;
ss << num;
ss >> strNum;
cout << strNum << endl;  // prints "43"

it can't work. it states that the string is a undeclared identifier. anyway, its VC++.net

ok, i found the solution. It should be,

std::stringstream ss;
std::string strNum;
int num = 43;
ss<<num
ss>>strNum;
