I'm looking for a Project in the field of face recognition and
movement capture. The idea is to animate an avatar using a webcam.
Does anybody know a c++ work in progress in that direction? Thanks

Wrong newsgroup. Try the newsgroup that deals with your OS, with
multimedia, or with programming video devices. Search SourceForge
for existing projects. When you have a C++ language question, come

google is your friend. I did a google search for "face recognition source"
got a bunch of hits. The first hit is:
