which is efficient winsock or DDE (client server)

hi,
i have to develope a client sever modal in which around 32 clients will be connected and send data at 1MBps rate. the sever has to store it in hard after alligning it. so for this scenario which would be efficient. I am using multithreading approach and just noticed abt Dynamic data exchange in Vc++. So do reply those who used DDE in their appln.
thanks,
