This is all kind of in another language to, I mean I understand most of the words in relation to programming, but my field of work/study is IT. Anyways, on to the problem. I am working on my 5th project and it is running, just not the way it is supposed to. In the "posting guidelines" section it says not to post the whole source code, but that is all I know to do because I have no idea where the problem is. I asked a friend, who is a literally genius, and does not know how to speak dummy so I do not understand what he is trying to tell me. He did the project just for fun and made his ssooo complex that I could not understand that either. I searched the site for an answer to the problem, and have found nothing that will help me. Found something that would have helped me on my last project...lol. The project is due tomorrow by midnight, I have worked on this for several hours, this was a last resort for me because I hate asking for help, and I have kept my 4.0 GPA all throughout college and do not want to lose it to an elective. If anyone can help me please let me know and I will send the source code.

If you can tell what is your problem, whether you are getting errors while compiling or some logical difficulties. As without knowing the issue we cannot help you. Don't paste the whole code but only the part where you doubt that error may occur in that snippet. May you get your solution here only :)

I would start with a few things:

1) Compiler/IDE and version
2) compiler messages (copy and paste directly)
3) the lines the compiler complains about
4) declarations of the variables used on the lines the compiler complains about
5) what you want the program to do upon completion
6) anything you don't understand about the code or problem

That is considered "relevant" information, and will give us a good place to start (maybe anyone else who sees something they might find useful can add it as well)
