Database connectivity in C++

Hi All

Is it possible to use a database with C++. ( otherthan files)
Without using VC++ interface can we connect to any database like Oracle, MS ACCESS ?

I am using C++ on linux.

Link mentions that, it requires library for connectivity of C++ to database, if MFC is not needed to be used.

hi

ya u r right tht there is the sample question..but if u closely look at the program its importing the file:

#import "C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\ADO\msado15.dll" \

thts possible only in case we are using C++ on Windows.
But as i mentioned my previous msg i am using C++ on linux...so it cant be done on linux..
So is there is any other way to get connected with databas in C++ (LINUX)
