Migration process

Hi friends
i am migrating my product from vc++6.0 to vc++8.0. now i need to submit the report to my college. My report sholud also contain the system design document. For this i need to include some data flow diagrams, UML diagram.
but i donot know how to draw this for a migration process. plz can anyone suggest me how to do it?
