Reviews requested: JPEG library

edd
Hi folks,

I sincerely hope that the content of this post is suitable for the
newsgroup. The FAQ didn't seem to suggest that it was inappropriate
but please let me know if I should go elsewhere.

I have prepared a library for reading and writing JPEG images. It
wraps the IJG C library (http://www.ijg.org) in to an interface that
allows the use of streams and iterators for I/O. It's implemented
entirely in standard C++ and has no external dependencies.

I'm very interested to hear people's thoughts on the library. I'm
afraid that the only build system currently supported is one of my own
creation (free download, though). But there's nothing 'funny' about
the code and you should be able to throw it in any IDE and compile it
by other means without too much trouble. I give some hints on my web
page about this.

To give it a whirl, please visit http://www.mr-edd.co.uk and click on
the "jpegxx" link in the sidebar. The direct URL may change so I fear
giving it out for now.

Kind regards,

Edd
