reading words from a file in C that was stored in an array(PROGRAM )i require

How to read words from afile i n C .I require a program regarding that.
The file contains.....
regex1 (tab) fsm1 (tab) fsm2
regex2 (tab) fsm4 (tab) fsm3


......
i WANT TOREAD A PARTICULAR WORD FROM THE FILE.
C an u plz give the required answer...
