How to install QT

Osoascam
Hi!!
I'm new (completely new) at C++. I'm trying to use QT for a homework. I can ONLY use QT or GTK, and I think QT is a lot simpler. I got only two week for this project, so there's no time I can waste.

The thing is... How do I install QT?

I followed all of the steps in this page: http://darkhack.googlepages.com/qttutorial

It didn't work. At all, so I entered to this page This site is in french... Yeap, I had a hard time

There, it explained some things a bit (the "qmake" directory was wrong, so I got a hard time finding it). Qmake is supposed to create a Makefile.Release, and then you use some variables of it to make a Template.

The thing is, after all this trouble (that costed me one whole day of nothingness), I still caaaaan't!!!! :'(

There's an error that says (using Dev-c++, by the way)
[Build Error] [main.o] Error 1

WHat can I do?

If somebody has an easy way of using QT, please help me, I'm starting to feel a bit desperate...

Thanks!!! :D

Well.
Qt is a powerful tool. You can down load qt resources at this site http://www.qtcentre.org/
Just see download Qt section at bootom right. Install it and enjoy as I enjoy working with qt

All the best and best regards.
And also if you get stuck ask as many questions and get replies.

Thanks

Well, than you very much
I joined the community of Qt.
But I already downloaded and installed Qt. What I can't do, is to be able to use Qt libraries with Dev-C++.

I do all of my QT work on linux workstations and I use QDevelop, which works nicely for developing QT apps

In that case you need to ask questions about your specific questions in the QtCenter. Ask questions and get answers quickly. You can meet me there.

See you
