How to sort the files by date on findfirst?

I have a vc++ 1.52 program, I need to find all the files with a
pattern *.da? and then I need to sort the list by create date and then
process each one.
Just curious, if there is a way I can do this using dos_findfirst? Any
suggestions?
Thanks.

'dos_findfirst' is not a standard function. Please ask in the newsgroup
'comp.os.msdos.programmer'.
