Urgent help needed - Kernel memory leak

Can any one help me explaing about Kernel Memory leak? what is kernel memory leak? how do we debug Kernel level Memory Leak? Do we have standard tool for finding it? How do we differentiate Kernel level memory leak with Application level Memory leak?
