NHi all, I am new to Linux platform. I am writing some C
Nprograms on Linux platform. It gives the segmentation fault
Nerror, what is segmentation fault and how to remove it.
Segmentation faults mean you tried to access memory you don't have
access to, and the environment caught it.
There's a class of code that invokes what the standard calls
"undefined behavior." A lot of these are the result of run-time
behavior that the compiler can't catch at compile-time. Sometimes,
but not always, the run-time environment catches it and signals a
fault. In this case, you were lucky; bugs like that often just
destroy data.
The proper way to remove it is to fix the error in your code.
