I found what looks like a compiler in microsoft word?

yeah? I am confused is this for making programs???
It looks like it is for programming?whats going on?
Is it a compiler?
In Microsoft Office Word.
Is this Visual C++?I am new to C++ and new to programing in general so i am not sure of what this is.
So is this Visual C++,i have heard of Visual C++ but i am not sure what it is.
So help me please,tell me what is going on.

I think you are confused/mistaken. Microsoft Word does contain an implementation of Visual Basic called Visual Basic Applications (VBA) which is also in the other office programs (Excel, Access etc) which is the macro language Microsoft use in there office programs to allow customisations and extensions to be written.

I am fairly sure Word does not contain a C/C++ compiler.

Its also important to note here that VB .net and VBA are not compiled languages. They are interpreted by the .net framework or by the office app.

Ok ok listen,ensure that ALL toolbars are visible,there will be one with a symbol that looks like that loop that reprsents infinity,but the loop will be yellow.I know what i saw.
Click this loop.Can i post a screenshot somehow?

Who needs screen shot software, just press <Print Screen> and Windows copies the screen to the clipboard (or <alt>-<Print Screen> and it copies the active window). From there you can paste it into an graphics package (Praint in a pinch).

Yes that is the VB scripting facility that Office provides. It is not a compiler.
