Adding dll files to the PATH variable in Microsoft VS .NET 2003

8
Hello everyone,

I have a bunch of DLL files in a folder that i would like to link against a c++ project in visual studio .net 2003, could someone tell me how to do this.

I just need to tell the vs .net environment to look into this folder to find the dll's that the project needs to run.

Thanks very much for your response.

you can only link to them if you have the *.lib files as well as the *.dll files.

Unfortunately, I haven't used 2003, v6 and 2005.

However you need to open the project settings/properties. Somewhere in there there will be a linker tab or tree item. In the linker settings is a list of extra libraries to use, add your libraries to this list.
