Need C++ Help For Pci Data Transfer!

Hi guys, I am new to this network but have been looking through the forum and thought that maybe someone could help me with this. I am a senior Electrical Engineering student with a computer science past and am working on a project to transfer data from a Firewire Camera to a PCI FPGA development card. I was wondering if ANYONE AT ALL out there who can help!

I have been working on this for months and I just can't get it to work. I am using C++ and trying to get data from IEEE 1394 to PCI32. If ANYONE knows of ANYTHING that could help please please respond.

Thanks,

Danny

Oh yeah, and helping me isn't considered cheating because completing this project isn't for a grade, it is for a pseudo-client..

Thanks Again

what operating system are you using? do you need to write drivers to talk to the PCI cards are do you already have them?

Hi Horace1,
I am trying to develop this using Windows XP and I have what I need to actually talk to the card. The card is an FPGA development board and what I am trying to do is get data from a firewire camera to the PCI bus and then my digital logic design will take over because that part of it is complete. I don't think it should be that hard but I just can't get it to work, any suggestions?

Additionally does anyone know of a database where they would keep stuff like this?
