How can I widen my prensent google blog template

The present google adminsitered blog template offers up only about a
half a page, side to side. How can I get it to widen to make better
use the space provided. At present it looks like a totem pole!

You are so in the wrong newsgroup. ;)

Try Google Groups at http://groups.google.com/group/blogger-help?lnk=srg

Hope that helps.
