Can somebody describe how a .c file including somew header files can be converted to a .exe and how .dlls are created and also how IDL can be used for making call from some other language ......

When you compile a .c file on an operating system that supports .exe, it will automatically create the .exe (although you may need to specify the exact name, I think it defaults to a.exe).
More information on creating dll's (and more information about .exe) can be found by searching "c .exe .dll" (or similar) on the internet
