Unable to find the event id in the implementation of Eventlog

I am currently facing a problem in the implementation of event logging in C++.

The requirement is that one of the service created by us should log the events and the supporting information.

I am successful in having the service writing to the eventlog.. There is a hitch here. Even though the Message Dl l(which contains the Event information) is registered and the path given to the keys, the eventlog has some of the extra information as follows.

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Service ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event:

Service started Started.

I want to know how to get rid of this extra Message (The one in Bold) OR to put in other words how do we make sure that the event id is being read from the message file??
