DNS - get MX-record - any linkable tools?

Hi!

i need to get the MX-record from DNS for my smtp system (integrated in our
busines software).
My programming language is primary Xbase++ (Alaska Software).
With Xbase++ it is a problem to work with c-structures to use the return
values.
The microsoft DnsQuery() function could help me with the MX-record. But i
failed to get the needed values out of the structure.

So my question to you:
is there any other easyer way to resolve the MX-record(s) from a domain (
i.e.: ipArray = getmx("gentner.net") or nRet = getmx("gentner.net" ,
ipArray ) ).
Linkable .DLL-File or .OBJ

We have also MS Visual C++ 6.0 and SDK 2003

I hope, someone can help!

Regards,
Roland Gentner

This is not a C++ issue. You are in the wrong newsgroup. Please re-read
the welcome message and section 5 of the FAQ, paying particular
attention to the sections on topicality:
