c++ class for ftp connection

Hi,
Can anyone design a C++ class for ftp connection and getting files from an intermediate directory. The platform is hp-unix.

use socket

make connection to IP on 21Port


Listen() for recieving Data

recv()
Sendto()
you can use

have a look at the socket tutorial

you can write an FTP client using TCP

this one is java socket tutorial but covers principles very well http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/networking/sockets/index.html
