GNU Common C++ Library

I want use GNU CommonC++ facility for sockets
But I want to use it to built a Win32 dll but I could not find a
zip(with .zip extention) file of this library. All I saw is .tar.gz
extention files but I wanna to port library on a Windows server

And I dont know if it is posible to do this

most of the latest unzip utilities (WinZip, etc) on the windows platform
support both .zip and .tar.gz formats. You can download them from
www.download.com or www.tucows.com
