Setting String(with special chars) in WString (C++)

1
Hi,
I have a string which has special chars coming in an input file. I want to set it in a wstring variable present in table . It is not setting the wstring variable if it has any special characters in it (multibyte char) .

I tried the following ,

FieldValue = new xlString( Field );

TempValue = new xlWString();
The value of Fieldvalue is PA—TEST********

TempValue->SetString(FieldValue);
Here Tempvalue is printing only PA

*(c_bpm_bpfeed_npObj->MaidenName) =*(TempValue);

c_bpm_bpfeed_npObj->SetMaidenName(c_bpm_bpfeed_npObj->MaidenName);

If anyone knows how to make this work pls help .
