Need a command

HI, I'm in the middle of a program and i need a command in Visual C++ for setting up the position of the cursor. Means, i want to set the position of cursor on the screen and then print whatever i want to, on that place.
My teacher told me to do this with set_cursor_position (x,y), but this doesn't seem to work, The compiler is picking it as an identifier. Plz help.

and use the _gotoxy(int, int);
function, it places the cursor to the desired location.
_gotxy(0,0); takes the cursor to the top left hand character of the screen.
